What was your favorite part of the game?
And by this, I'm referring to the actual campaigns and missions in any of the games.
For me, if would have to be all the missions in the Shiverpeaks right after getting out of Ascalon. Being up in those snowy mountains, the different towns, dwarves, etc was all very very fun for me.
I think me having started playing during the Wintersday events may have helped in this area, since I had that Christmas feeling goin' on anyway.

I enjoyed everything the first time I played through GW. All the scenery, the missions, everything. I REALLY enjoyed PvP the first time I played that too.
So basically, if you want to enjoy GW, play it once and never play it again.

the first time i made it out of post searing and into the shiverpeaks. there were several areas where it snowed and the music that went along with it was amazing. it was one of those "wow" moments.

my favorite was the first time i beat the doppleganger and glint, and made it to droknars forge. droks was the main trading outpost then and was full of people and had like 5 districts.
also, i really liked the 3 missions after that. maybe it just seemed fun to me because i hated the desert so much...?

When Factions was released and I made my first Profession in GW - Assassin (Now my main character for over 3.5 years).
First time I tested the Assassins moves in Temple of Balthazaar WOWOW!!(twisting fangs, blades of steel, nine tails strike, falling spider, Aura of Displacement) I cried with joy. First time I gone through Shing Jea island was very fun too. And the first time I used Shadowsteps without aftercasts with my Assassin was awsome (Aura of Displacement GvG- sigh* fun times)

I would have to say my favorite part was when I started Cartographing in Tyria and seeing all the little touches that the designers put into the game.
Stumbling into Tears of the Fallen the first time blew my mind. I had no idea there was a zone there, lol

Factions. Especially the Jade Sea.
Plus the fact that it came out at the time when I enjoyed GW the most helped immensely.

first-off, pre... the path from ascalon to ashford abbey, the tree lined dirt path, light filtering through, the love of my GW life my ele just strolling along trying to be crafty avoiding the scale (which i had no idea where non-hostile)... god that was beautiful.
then, i didnt experience that level of awe for scenery untill i did my attribute point quest in the desert. that high rise over looking the arid sea... i musta stood there for 30 min. and ive done so with each following character that went on that quest.
Tyria is undoubtedly my favorite, top to bottom. i miss those days

I think pre is my favorite place, then Old Ascalon and Jade Sea. The only place I really do not like is Maguuma Jungle and I dislike several NF missions.

I think this would be:
a) Southern Shiverpeaks in Tyria.
b) Pongmei Valley, I just love it. Cantha, of course.
c) Vabbi in Elona.
d) Uh... Uhm... Some Asuran areas, I guess. Although I hate monsters there.

Prophecies for the most part.
I specially love the northern shiverpeaks.
Factions just the island and kurzick side other than that factions is kinda of ugly.
Nightfall every part apart from the realm and the sulphurous....
